Sabinsa, the multi-national health sciences company known for providing sustainable natural, well-researched ingredients, has added South America to Ms. Asha Ramesh’s CEO Responsibilities with the new title of CEO Americas, and promoted Mr. Jan Obirek to VP of Sales US & Canada.
Asha joined the company 30 years ago as Manager of Purchasing & Special Projects at Sabinsa's manufacturing arm, Sami Labs Ltd. in Bangalore, India. She moved to the Sabinsa staff in January 2000, focusing primarily on sales and business development with involvement in various departments of the organization. Prior to being named US CEO in 2018, she was Sabinsa’s Vice President of Business Development. Asha has a bachelor’s degree in science and an MBA specializing in marketing management from Bangalore University, India.
When Jan joined Sabinsa in 2015 as Regional Sales Manager – California he was already a top-producing business executive with experience in sales management at the regional, national, and international levels in the natural, mass & drug channels. A native of Poland, Jan started his higher education at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics. He subsequently emigrated to the United States and received his BA in Economics from the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO. He has broad consumer packaged goods and ingredient sales expertise with both branded and private label products. Jan has a proven ability to grow revenue, and exceed sales and profit goals.
